Why Sponsor A Child?

$100 a year is all it takes to help one of the students of Victory Primary school stay in class and $200 a year for a secondary student.

The children of Uganda see attending school as a privilege, and take their learning experience seriously. The school fees are set at $3.00 per school term, with the school year broken into 3 terms. There is an expectation that the children’s parents will take on part of the responsibility for their children’s education by meeting this fee. Unfortunately for many families this small amount is still beyond their means. To run the school though it takes much more than $3.00 per child. The money raised from the sponsorship program helps to pay our teachers, provides teacher resources and a meal for both the students and their teachers at lunch times. To these kids, this is not just a meal, for some it is the only meal they will have all day. Sponsorship money also enables the school to meet it’s legal requirements.

Sponsoring a child’s education is the best present you can give a child from such a poor community.
